Sitara Cacao offers chocolate consulting, support, and sourcing services.

With access to cocoa producers around the world and 10 years of experience in the cocoa market, I am excited to help you connect directly with cocoa producers and try amazing new products. My goal is to work transparently as a market connector and improve quality and flavor through partnering with cocoa and chocolate entrepreneurs.

For too long, the cocoa market has been dominated by a monopoly while there are thousands of producers around the world looking to connect with makers and an audience who care deeply about cacao, chocolate, and the livelihoods that make it possible. I am currently able to support on sourcing projects best for chocolate derivatives and cocoa needs. Please reach out for more conversation and support.

 
 

Cacao, a world of flavor—

 

Cacao comes from the seeds of the Theobroma Cacao tree which grows roughly 20 degrees north and south of the equator. The fruit (pods) grow directly on the trunk and branches of the tree, which is typically an understory shade tree and grows best in a diverse and natural jungle ecosystem. As you learn more about the genetics, fermentation, and flavor expressions of cacao, one can’t help but be mesmerized by the diversity and richness of expression this fruit contains.

We specialize and support you find high quality sources and connect with producers who offer cacao nibs, butter, powder, paste, and chocolate for now. If you would like to start exploring together, drop us a line!
